The Gold Coast is renowned for its Theme Parks which are open 365 days a year and cater for all everyone of all ages and the brave and the not so brave.

 

Tickets for all Theme Parks can be pre-purchased on line before your visit, or can be purchased from a number of outlets along the Gold Coast. Individual ticket prices as at October 2013 are as follows:

 

Movie World: $ $85.00 adult / $50.00 children 3-13

 

Wet N Wild: $60 adult / $35 children 3-13

 

Seaworld: $85 adult / $50 children 3-13

 

Dreamworld: $85 adult / $50 children 3-13

 

White Water World:  $50 adult / 30 children 3-13

 

Currimbin Wildlife Sanctuary: $50 adult / $33 children 4-14

 

However, we do suggest you consider purchasing either a VIP pass, a Superpass or one of the other combination passes that are available.  These tickets only cost a little bit more than a single ticket, and allow you to visit either Movie World, Sea World and Wet 'N Wild, or Dreamword and White Water World - depending on the type of ticket you buy - multiple times, making it easy for half day visits or return visits to a favourite park or ride. Getting to the Theme Parks is easy:

 

Public Transport - The TX2 bus runs regularly along the Gold Coast Highway (approx 400m from Summerset) to all Theme Parks (except Seaworld - see below).  Cost is approximately $7.50 adult/$3.50 child / concession one way.  The bus is a limited express, and takes about 30 minutes.

 

By Car - Follow the Gold Coast Highway north through Surfers Paradise and Southport and follow the signs to Brisbane along the Pacific Motorway.  There are no tolls and the Theme Parks are clearly signposted.  There is plenty of free parking available at all Theme Parks.

 

Getting to Seaworld:

 

Public Transport - there are regular, clearly marked buses that run directly to Seaworld along the Gold Coast Highway (Bus 750).  These buses take between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic and cost $5.60 adult / $2.80 child/concession one way.

 

By Car - travel north along the Gold Coast Highway and turn left at the Seaworld sign before you get to Southport.
